With three courses the prominent two being the Dukes and the Marquis. The Dukes was carved out of the forest in the mid 1970’s opening for play in 1975, it did not take long to be acknowledged as a championship course hosting the Dunlop Masters in 1979. With fairways flanked by glorious pine birch and chestnut trees, making this an intimate course with each hole played in splendid isolation. The Signature hole the short par 3 with the green set some 100 feet below the tee and framed by banks of rhododendrons and gorse. The Marquis the latest addition to the Woburn portfolio set out on the same classic land with a maturity that belies its age.
