The Volvo Dealer Golf Challenge 2012

The Volvo Dealer Golf Challenge 2012 consists of five events at some of the UK’s most prestigious courses.

It provides Volvo dealers with the opportunity to entertain existing and potential customers at a professionally managed golf day with some fantastic prizes on offer.

The winner of each event will qualify for the Volvo UK Final to be played at the world famous Turnberry Resort in October from where they will have the chance to qualify for the once in a lifetime experience of the Volvo World Golf Challenge.

What is included?
The events will be played over 18 holes and the playing format will be individual stableford with full handicap allowance. Each day will include:

  • coffee & bacon rolls on arrival
  • Volvo goody bag
  • mid-morning tee off
  • dinner following play
  • prize presentation with a range of prizes to be won
  • the winning dealer guest at each event will qualify for the Volvo UK Final at Turnberry, 19 – 21 October 2012

Who can enter?
All Volvo dealers have been invited to enter four players into one of the events depending on the dealership location. The four players will ideally include a member of staff but if there are no golfers in the dealership four guests may be invited and a member of staff will be welcome to accompany them on the day. Dealers can enter guests into the other four events.

In order to accept the prize of qualification for the UK Final the golfers must be a member of a golf club and have an active CONGU handicap.

How to enter?

MIAMI TRIP DETAILS NOW ONLINE

We have now finalised the package to Miami in November and the trip will take in two US PGA Tour courses. PGA National Champion Course will host The Honda Classic 1 - 4 March and Doral Blue Monster will host the World Golf Championship -  Cadillac Championship 8 - 11 March. Follow in the steps of the world's leading professionals. 
MARK VANDENBERGHE WINS IN FANCOURT

Congratulations to Mark Vandenberghe who together with his playing partners, Retief Goosen and Lee Slattery won the Volvo Golf Champions 'Playing with the Pros' at Fancourt with a score of -18. Jason Shillito playing alongside Darren Clarke and SSP Chowrasia finished on -9 while Bill Ferguson, Colin Montgomerie and Matt Zions finished on -3. This is the second consecutive year that a UK competitor has won 'Playing with the Pros' after Kevin Aherne's success alongside Darren Clarke and Paul Casey in Bahrain.
